The Biobanking and Biomolecular Resources Research Infrastructure – Large Prospective Cohorts (BBMRI-LPC) project aims to facilitate collaborative studies on prospective cohorts across Europe. To date, 19 cohorts have joined the BBMRI-LPC network.

The purpose of this website is to host the BBMRI-LPC open scientific call, which provides selected research projects with access to samples and data from the cohorts. The website also provides a detailed catalogue of the resources that are available within the participating cohorts, and is an extension of the BBMRI-LPC biobank catalogue.

This website is part of the BBMRI-LPC project, which has received funding from the European Union Seventh Framework Programme (grant number 313010). The website has been developed jointly by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), the Helmholtz Zentrum München/University of Munich, and Imperial College London, and is based on a software application developed by McGill University.
